Coffee Blog And Coffee Reviews

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

This is the coffee blog that does the coffee reviews like none have ever seen. Well, it will be that way soon! For now, I am just waiting… waiting until I find the time to do it up right! In the meantime, visit my friend RT and his gourmet coffee site for all the best in coffee and tea info and reviews.

The coffee review blog will be up and running soon, I hope!
Everyone enjoys a great coffee treat, but often times with the economy where it is today, we cannot always treat our indulgences. But we can make our own treats at home. These easy to follow instructions are a great recipe for a afternoon cap or eve night cap with a nice iced coffee from the comfort of your own home!

First you want to start with a normal brewed pot of hot coffee. And be sure that you use your favorite coffee mix, and use about 2-3 tsp. per cup of coffee you plan to serve. After you have made your coffee as you would on any normal give day, transfer all of this over to a pitcher or container that will not crack when met with rapid temperature decrease.

The main thing after you have brewed your coffee is to ensure that you have it in the stable pitcher, let it sit for about 4 hours, maybe not quite as long in fridge or freezer, you want to let it cool as naturally as possibly to savor all of the coffee flavoring, DO NOT add ice during this step.

If you want a sweet taste, you need to add your sugar during the period in which it is still very hot! This will allow the sugar to melt. And stir through this process.

After it has set, cooled, and you have dissolved your sugar (to your taste) then you are going to add the ice. You are going to want to fill your glass with ice first, a nice TALL glass, and then pour the chilled coffee into the tall empty glass of ice.

Stir to ensure that is nice and cold throughout your tall drink of iced coffee, then if you desire, this would be the time to add your milk. Stirring thoroughly, then enjoy!
